Silicon Valley Education Foundation/Lessonopoly/NBC Learn
Academic Business Consultants, Inc has been working with the Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) to improve their online lesson plan repository, Lessonopoly. This open source repository allows teachers to search for lessons they can immediately use in their classrooms. ABC, Inc surveyed the site and in working with SVEF made many helpful changes for easier search and navigation. ABC, Inc supplied 1000 lesson plans, matched to California State Standards, for grades K – 12. The area of lesson concentration was shifted, by SVEF, from all subjects and grades to a focus of STEM related lessons for grades 4 – 8.
As part of the Lessonopoly project, ABC, Inc was contracted by SVEF to create an Algebra Intervention program for their Stepping Up To Algebra (SUTA) project. SUTA is designed to provide upcoming 7th and 8th graders with a Summer School Program to increase their math proficiency levels as related to Algebra. Based on student test results from the California Standards Test and the most current math teaching research, ABC created two grade level programs to increase student math proficiency needed for advancement.
ABC, Inc was also contracted by SVEF to create the classroom lessons and activities necessary for NBC Learn’s video series on The Science of the Winter Olympics and the Science of the NFL. Both projects brought about vastly increased recognition for Lessonopoly and SVEF.

The Pacific Center for Advanced Technology Training (PCATT) is a not-for-profit consortium of the University of Hawai‘i Community
Colleges. PCATT used ABC Inc.’s writing and editing services during the production of an elearning based algebra pilot program.
"Academic Business Consultants was brought to the GLN Algebra
project at the beginning when it became apparent that PCATT needed
some expert assistance in writing and refining an online algebra
