The Science of the Winter Olympics and the Science of the NFL
Academic Business Consultants, Inc. has successfully supported the Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and NBC Learn in their partnership by developing lesson plan content linked to the series the Science of the Winter Olympics and the Science of the NFL. Lesson plans for the series developed ideas discussed in the NBC Learn video content and offered opportunities for students and teachers to create and explore real world experiments for deeper understanding of math and science. Video and lesson plan content was linked from NBCLearn.com and SVEF’s lesson plan repository, Lessonopoly.org. ABC is proud that the series has encouraged student engagement and boosted total site visits to Lessonopoly.org.
